I love a good upholstery project... They may be messy, time-consuming, and can be slightly frustrating, but in the end, I guess I like the extra challenge reupholstering provides compared to just painting furniture. I'm not an expert at it, but have done a few chairs and have learned a few things along the way that I thought I'd share.

Stylish and Budget-Friendly Organizational Tips for Craft Rooms and Offices
Do you long to have a craft room or an office that you can store all your hobby-making materials, paperwork, and miscellaneous office supplies that is unique, stylish, but budget-friendly at the same time? I know I did... for years! If you've been dreaming of an organized office or craft room, but think it takes hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars in furniture and organizing supplies, then I have a few tips that will make you think otherwise...

Simple Sideboard Makeover
It's about time I shared another furniture makeover because it's been way too long! Just like most of you, my month of December was busy, busy and there just wasn't much time for painting. I was happy to finally whip out the paintbrush recently to finish up a few pieces for the booth.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! It's always fun to go back and take a look through the blog and some of the projects that were completed over the year and see which were more popular than others. Woodland Christmas in the Dining Room
Have you ever been inspired to decorate a room from a scrap of fabric, piece of artwork, or even a pillow? Sometimes I find something out shopping or through my travels that sets of a chain reaction of decorating and in the case of decorating my newly-painted dining room for the holidays, a simple decorative towel inspired a "Woodland Christmas" feel...

Recent Projects and Market Preview
It's been a while, hasn't it?! I've been incredibly busy the last week or so... From out-of-town house hunting trips, two hour nightly swim practices for the girls, and the fact that all the kids are home all day fills up quite a bit of my time. But...I've also been super-busy getting ready for the first Carolina Vintage (mini) Market this weekend.

Dresser Makeover with Fabric
I've had a little project brewing in my mind for a long time... It's one of those projects when I just needed to find the right piece of furniture and the time to tackle it. Over the years, I've seen some beautiful furniture makeovers by applying fabric directly to drawer fronts, etc and after seeing another dresser with linen applied to the drawer fronts on my trip to High Point Market, I knew I just had to try out the technique...
