Green and Natural Thanksgiving Tablescape

I finished up my dining room just in time!  If you recall, I've been working here and there on the room, but since I'm part of a wonderful group of bloggers sharing our Fall/Thanksgiving tablescapes this week, it gave me the push to get it completed.

I'm sharing the dining room a little backwards...  Today is my Thankgiving tablescape, but I will share more details (sources, paint colors, etc) in another post this week.  As I mentioned HERE, I've been inspired by green lately and I thought it would be nice to step out a bit from my normal color palette of blues and neutrals.
The green inspiration also found it's way onto my Thanksgiving table, which was largely inspired by this one beautiful green pumpkin that I bought at the farmer's market a while back...
I love decorating with natural elements and since my new curtains and DIY Fall wall art include trees, leaves, acorns, etc, it was an easy decision to incorporate these items on the table as well...
Birch candles (from Pottery Barn Outlet), mini pumpkins, and dried artichokes placed on large green leaves stand out on the new green striped grainsack runner (also from Pottery Barn Outlet)...

The cute little squirrel salt and pepper shakers are from Target and the antique ironstone soup tureen was a great bargain find at a local antiques show...
For the individual place settings, I simply added mini white pumpkins with our family's names attached.  I cut out circles with a large craft punch of very thin sheets of real wood paper (from Hobby Lobby) and marked them with white pen...

I love to have simple, white dishes on-hand for tablescapes because it's easy to mix up whatever color or look you want.

So far, I'm really enjoying the green (even though it's hard to photograph)... It's a nice change of pace!

Hope you enjoyed, I'll be back in a couple days with the info on the dining room and hopefully some better pictures (it's a hard room to photograph).  In the meantime, don't miss the "All Things Home" Fall/Thanksgiving Tablescapes Tour starting today.  There's a great line-up of bloggers...

SWOON Kristen~ I'm pining and pinning away over your natural table with your green accents! I have never seen a pumpkin in that beautiful shade, at first I thought you had painted it. It's such a wonderful starting point and inspiration for your table and have a serious case of grainsack runner envy :)

Kristen, this is gorgeous. The table and the whole room are beautiful. What a great green pumpkin. Have not seen green ones before. I love the rustic light over the table and I spy your wonderful breadboard. I hung my other one on a wall in the kitchen. Love that looks.

Kristen - you just have that magical touch when it comes to tablescapes. I think book publisher's should rush your door with offers. I would be first in line to buy it. You have outdone yourself as always, and your new home is coming together beautifully. Hope you guys are well. xxoo

The green is amazing, and so is the tablescape. You've made the most of the room, for sure. And I'd say you're no longer a Pottery Barn virgin! You found lots of great bargains at the outlet.
