When I came across some butterfly, bird, and leaf papers recently, I knew that I was going to frame them up for both my home and the booth. I'm keeping one of these butterfly ones for the house, but I'm not sure where it will end up... Right now, it's on the mantel, reminding me that spring is on the way! Hopefully soon..
I'm lovin' the barn wood frames that I used on several of these.
I also framed up a really cool old map of Virginia that I found on the Outer Banks last summer as well as this "La Plante" print... These will be at the shop this weekend with another butterfly print.
I've been slowly trying to freshen up the house with some new things. I really don't get the chance to shop much, but I've been going out with my mom when I can as we are getting ideas for her new home.
I picked up this super-cute and springy runner yesterday to replace a gold velvet one that I've had for way too long...
Adds a nice touch to the foyer table and was a good bargain at $15!
I'm super excited to finally get a new rug for my living room! Since moving into our house, I've been using this rug from our old place back in Spokane, WA...
Not that you can tell from the picture, but it has seen better days. I've had it several years now and is really showing wear, plus it's always seemed small in this room. I've been saving for a new one and was so excited to score this wool one 60% off...
But guess what?! As much as I love the rug...it's not working for me. It's a 6'x9' rug and the furniture layout and the room basically makes it necessary to have an 8'x8'. That's a hard size to find, but I found a jute rug from Overstock. Can't wait for it to arrive!
