Normally, I'm decorating every square inch of my home or getting ready to host for the holidays, but everything feels a little different this year and I've been soaking up the time with my family...

Two of my three girls have birthdays right before Christmas so I spent those weekends being with them and let them have their special time.  I also got to watch my youngest in her very first Christmas program at preschool.  It's amazing how fast they grow...

I'm going to be spending the next several days with immediate and extended family, but I'll be back soon with some furniture projects that I've been picking away at and a look back at 2013...
