I'm sharing the dining room a little backwards... Today is my Thankgiving tablescape, but I will share more details (sources, paint colors, etc) in another post this week. As I mentioned HERE, I've been inspired by green lately and I thought it would be nice to step out a bit from my normal color palette of blues and neutrals.
I love decorating with natural elements and since my new curtains and DIY Fall wall art include trees, leaves, acorns, etc, it was an easy decision to incorporate these items on the table as well...
Birch candles (from Pottery Barn Outlet), mini pumpkins, and dried artichokes placed on large green leaves stand out on the new green striped grainsack runner (also from Pottery Barn Outlet)...
For the individual place settings, I simply added mini white pumpkins with our family's names attached. I cut out circles with a large craft punch of very thin sheets of real wood paper (from Hobby Lobby) and marked them with white pen...
Hope you enjoyed, I'll be back in a couple days with the info on the dining room and hopefully some better pictures (it's a hard room to photograph). In the meantime, don't miss the "All Things Home" Fall/Thanksgiving Tablescapes Tour starting today. There's a great line-up of bloggers...

It's such a wonderful starting point and inspiration for your table and have a serious case of grainsack runner envy :)
